Gareth Southgate's attacking options in Russia are going to be Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, Marcus Rashford and Danny Welbeck! While 3 of the 4 have been brilliant in front of goal or at least on the pitch, Welbeck has been doing nothing for Arsenal.
The striker finished last season with 10 goals in 47 apps – not something you expect from a striker. He has been missing a lot of chances and is going to be the weak link when selected.
Raheem Sterling has also been used as a striker by Southgate in friendlies and that makes it even more puzzling to figure out why Welbeck is on the place to Russia.
