The Welshman signed for Real Madrid for a then record-breaking fee of €101 million, and since then, he has scored tons of stunners for the Whites. However, his injuries have played a significant part in his career, blocking him from playing on a regular basis.

Gareth Bale commenced well this season, but with time, his consistency decreased and he rarely scores a goal these days, putting all pressure on Benzema and the midfielders to cover up for his mistakes.

The arrival of Hazard in the squad will help Gareth Bale to play more freely, without feeling the pressure of scoring regularly. Hazard's explosive bursts down the left flank are indeed terrifying, and that takes off the pressure from the likes of Modric and Kroos to create.

Hazard is a pure left winger who is immensely talented when it comes to playmaking and playing killer passes through the defence. Bale clearly performed better alongside Ronaldo. Though Hazard is nowhere near to Ronaldo's game style, Bale will have a bit of help in breaking down the toughest of defence by dribbling or by creating passing lanes.
