Newcastle owner Mike Ashley appears determined to push manager Rafael Benitez out the door without having to pay for the rest of his contract. Ashley offered Benitez to Spain for the World Cup and hasn't given the Spaniard a penny this window. Benitez has no idea of any incomings and it was clear to see in Newcastle's 4-0 defeat to Braga that Benitez was fed up. He made a vow to the fans that he would see out his Newcastle contract but there comes a time when enough is enough.

Newcastle have the most difficult start in the Premier League this season and if they fail to beat either Cardiff City or Crystal Palace they'll likely be without a win in their first eight games. With fans planning boycotts of matches and morale at an all-time low, I can guarantee you that Benitez will not be at the club next season. If he shows restraint and stays till the end of the season then good on him but even Newcastle fans know that he does not deserve the treatment he's receiving and is probably best off leaving the club sooner rather than later.
