#2 Lack of signings

Unai Emery announced last week that Arsenal will not be signing any players on a permanent basis in the ongoing January transfer window. So all they can do in January is bring in players on loan deals which might not be a good idea as there aren't many good quality players available on loan.

The problem here is that it's pretty clear that the team lacks depth in the squad and with Aaron Ramsey leaving for free this coming summer, Arsenal will be under pressure to bring in new faces in the summer transfer window.

The fans have already started showing their frustration regarding the owners of Arsenal not spending any money to make their squad competitive. They are nowhere near the quality of the squads of their rivals like Manchester City and Liverpool and with no money to bring in high-quality players is going to have a serious effect on the squad they have.

If the owners continue to keep their pockets tight and don't bring in some quality in the January transfer window, it's looking like they will miss out on the top-4 spot this season.
