#3 Inexperience at the big stages

The lack of experience is another factor acting as a roadblock on Liverpool's path to glory

Despite Liverpool's starting eleven being superb throughout this season so far, it goes without saying that the players are short of experience. Like talent, experience is something which cannot be fed but needs to be cultivated through time. And at the biggest stages, lack of experience can eventually cost a title.

For instance, both the full backs of the Liverpool squad- Trent Alexander Arnold and Andrew Robertson- are young and had almost no taste of trophies in their clubs. The likes of Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri, Firmino might be older in age but they are yet to win titles with the squad.

Despite the brilliance of most of these players on the pitch, they have not played consistently in the biggest stages from a young age like Kylian Mbappe or like the youngsters at Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
