Jurgen Klopp has done fantastic work in his three years in charge at Anfield, he has managed to build a squad that managed to reach the Champions League and challenge Pep Guardiola's mighty Manchester City as well.
The Reds squad have good depth in every area, but the quality in the squad depth is an issue that might come to bit Jurgen Klopp's plans to win the Premier League title this season. Other squad players like Lallana, Origi, Sturridge, Matip and Moreno are just not the same level such of Liverpool's starting eleven.
Compared to Manchester City who have players like Mahrez and Sane ready to use if players from their starting eleven are injured. With Champions League fixtures coming up and Liverpool manage to beat Bayern Munich, they will have a big pile of fixtures to deal with.
Also, Liverpool are highly dependent on their big players, unlike Manchester City who are based on teamwork. An injury to Mane, Salah or Van Dijk to surely end their chances of any silverware, while Manchester City have shown that they can cope even if their top players are not available.
