Not many United fans might agree to this, given their affection for Martial but the player has been heavily inconsistent since arriving in England.
In his 86 league appearances, he has netted 24 goals and provided for another 15. A valid argument can be made over his playing time, but the player has had sufficient chances to deliver.
When the team needs him the most, the Frenchman fails to make an impact. Even when Jose trusted him with a string of starts in late October 2017, Martial barely contributed to the game.
