Jean-Michel Aulas, the president of Olympique Lyonnais, continues to make statements on Fekir's future but without any significant substance. One significant element of note, however, is the fact that the French businessman never denied Liverpool's interest in Lyon's captain.
Despite claiming that the French sensation would stay with Lyon, the President contradicts his own statement by not providing any firm answer to the situation. Alas, while speaking to a French publication, the president revealed that Liverpool is Nabil Fekir's dream club. He went on to say that there is no certainty over the World Cup winner's future, and if a deal is not cracked by the end of July, then the player would stay with Lyon.
Considering how important Fekir is to Lyon, the president never puts out a firm statement on his future and has continued to give away deadlines to the authorities interested in Fekir's services. While there may not be significant evidence on the situation, Fekir's recent altercation with a fan during his holiday has provided an update which could be genuine.
If the French sensation definitely has his heart set on a move to Anfield, then Liverpool could be willing to strike a deal again to claim his services.
