#1 Manchester United's despair post Sir Alex Ferguson

Apart from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba to an extent, all the big-name signings by the club post the era of Sir Alex Ferguson have been failures. Radamel Falcao, Angel Di Maria, and Alexis Sanchez have all been unsuccessful at the club.
Paulo Dybala could be the next high-profile signing by the club and yet again, there will be a focus on him next season to break the trend that has been set by his recent predecessors.
Most importantly, Manchester United is no longer the dominant force it used to be in English football. Winning the Premier League trophy next season could be difficult and the club is also devoid of Champions League football also.
The morale at the club is also not great. After a disappointing 2018/19 season, the confidence is down and prominent stars like Pogba are unsettled at the club. For a guy who wants to get his career back on track, Manchester United might not be the perfect club for him.
