Cristiano Ronaldo, born on 5 February 1985, started his football career as a teenager at Sporting CP after recovering from a racing heart at the age of 15.

Not many would have expected Ronaldo to reach the peak of football given his physicality at that time. However, since the time he signed for Manchester United, Ronaldo found himself a footballing father, Sir Alex Ferguson, who guided him and helped him become the world's best player.

Ronaldo never looked back from there, and made his dream move to Real Madrid in 2009. In his 10-year stay at the Bernabéu, Ronaldo won four Ballon d'Or awards, four Champions League trophies, and became Real Madrid's all-time leading goal scorer.

In 2018, the Portuguese signed for Italian champions Juventus, aiming to win the UCL for the Old Lady.

Apart from his footballing ability, Ronaldo is a charmer off the field as well. His personality and style have won many hearts in the past. He is a fashion icon and followed by millions on social media.

As Ronaldo looks set to marry his present girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez; let's take a look at the three women he has been in a relationship with over the years, and the trophies he has won during each phase.

#3 Merche Romero

Romero is a Portuguese model and TV presenter by profession. The two met during Ronaldo's time at Manchester United, and the relationship lasted from January 2005 to September 2006.

Ronaldo, who is nine years younger than Merche, never publicly accepted or denied their relationship until in 2006, Romero confirmed they weren't together anymore.

Career-wise, that period was disappointing for Ronaldo. Though United won the English League Cup in the 2005-06 campaign, they lost the FA Cup final to Arsenal. There was also the infamous red card incident in the World Cup involving Wayne Rooney which didn't go down well with the England fans.

#2 Irina Shayk

Ronaldo seemed to have finally settled down in his personal life when he met Russian model Irina Shayk, whom he dated from 2010 to 2015.

Shayk was seen at numerous events with Ronaldo, and accompanied him to several football games as well. However, reports emerged of a rift between Shayk and Ronaldo's mother, which led to the footballer eventually breaking off the relationship.

Despite the breakup, Shayk was with Ronaldo during a very fruitful period in his career. He won a LaLiga title, two Copa del Reys, a Supercopa de Espana, a UEFA Champions League trophy, a UEFA Super Cup, a FIFA Club World Cup and two Ballon d'Or awards in that phase.

He was also the Champions League's top goal-scorer in the 2012-13, 2013-14 and the 2014-15 campaigns. There were a whole host of other individual accolades as well which the Portuguese won, making it five successful years with Real Madrid.

It seems Ronaldo has finally found the woman of his life - Georgina Rodriguez, who is a model and a dancer. The two were rumored to have started dating in November 2016, and Rodriguez is often seen with Ronaldo at various sporting events. She seems to have a good rapport with his mother as well.

The 25-year-old Rodriguez recently gave birth to a baby girl with the Portuguese, and looks set to marry him soon.

After breaking up with long-term girlfriend Irina Shayk, Ronaldo took some time off from his personal life to focus entirely on his career. He went on to win his fourth and fifth Ballon d'Or awards in that time, and helped Real Madrid win the Champions League for a record three consecutive times in the 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2018-19 seasons.

Ronaldo didn't stop there as he took Portugal to the UEFA European Championships title in 2016.

The Portuguese left Madrid to join Juventus at the start of the current campaign, and has already bagged the Supercoppa Italiana with the Old Lady. As his personal life looks settled, Ronaldo seems primed to reach new career heights with Juventus in the future.
