Yossi Benayoun is one of the best players from Israel and was signed by Liverpool in the summer of 2007 for £6.57 million from West Ham United.

He enjoyed a mediocre spell with Liverpool and played 92 Premier League games, scoring 18 goals for the club, However, he fell out with Rafael Benitez during his final years with the club and he eventually joined Chelsea in 2010.

Things didn't go as planned for him at the Stamford Bridge and he was sent out on loan to Arsenal during the 2011-2012 season. He somewhat revived his career with the Gunners and scored four goals in 19 Premier League games.

The Israeli international moved to Queens Park Rangers in 2013 after becoming a free agent and is currently playing for the Israeli Premier League club, Maccabi Petah Tikva F.C. Benayoun is Israel's most capped player of all time and their joint second top scorer with 24 international goals.
