#3 Versatile position
Ramsey is always known for his positional flexibility as he has been deployed as a central, attacking midfielder, or even a winger on several occasions. Fortunately, James could match that much-needed versatility of the Welshman for Arsenal.
The Colombian has played equally well either as a winger, center, or an attacking midfielder. This season, Unai Emery has mostly deployed Ramsey as an attacking midfielder where the 28 years old has slotted brilliantly. James would flourish in that particular placement as he has stated that it is his preferred position.
Granit Xhaka seems the only central midfielder capable of helping Arsenal with proper ball distribution as Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi both are a more defensive-minded player. Hence, Arsenal could play James alongside Xhaka in the center of the park to add more creativity to their attacks.
