The manner in which the Brazilian departed angered many people in the Catalan capital
The prospect of Neymar leaving Paris Saint Germain to return to Barcelona next summer seems to be a joke to many, especially those who still remember the ridiculous behaviors and wayward attitude he put on while he was trying to force a move away from the Nou Camp to join the French outfit last summer.

There is no denying that the Brazilian lost it with the Blaugrana faithful following his shocking departure from the club and all images, banners, and jerseys bearing his name were taken down and burnt along the streets of Barcelona, with many branding him the next Figo and criticizing him heavily on social media.
His departure also led to several legal issues between Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain and the player himself and he was denied his loyalty bonus worth £23 million as a result. Even at the moment, it is clear that those at Barcelona are still embittered by Neymar's betrayal - which makes a return to the Catalan capital almost impossible for the Brazilian winger.
