Ronaldo opened the scoring against Juventus after just three minutes

On Tuesday night Ronaldo set a personal best when it comes to the earliest goal he has scored in his Champions League career.

The Portuguese took just three minutes to score the opener in Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Juventus at the Turin stadium, making it the quickest goal he has scored in the competition.

The goal came on two minutes 47 seconds after he connected to an Isco cross, before coolly thumping the ball past Gianluigi Buffon in the post for the Old Lady.

Ronaldo boasts an unreal record when it comes to goals in the Champions League, however, never had he scored in the opening three minutes of a game in the competition.

That record, though, has now been shattered thanks to his early goal against Juventus on Tuesday.
