#2 Atletico are now 5 league games unbeaten at the Bernabeu
The Santiago Bernabeu isn't an easy place to visit. Unless your name just happens to be Atletico Madrid. By pegging their mightier neighbours back to another draw, the Diego Simeone side have extended their unbeaten run at the Bernabeu to five games in the league now.
Real Madrid have although enjoyed dominance over Atletico Madrid in Europe, they haven't been able to replicate that mind of form in the league, and the latter once again took firm advantage of the same.
The unbeaten run sees them equal Barcelona's record set in 1972 when they were unbeaten at the Bernabeu for five straight league games - winning thrice and drawing twice. The Rojiblancos were also the first side to win thrice consecutively in Real's backyard from the 2013/14 season to 2015/16, before the Catalans registered a similar record last December with the 3-0 win.
