The first game Liverpool played against Manchester City this season was really disastrous. However, The Reds shocked the whole world in a classic encounter. They defeated an in-form Manchester side which was yet to lose any game in the English top division. The match ended 4-3 in favor of Liverpool. That memorable triumph put an end to City's impressive 22-match unbeaten run.
