#3 Laurent Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny was a firm favourite of Arsene Wenger, however Unai Emery seems to have moved on without the Arsenal captain. Sokratis was signed in the summer and Arsenal also have much younger options at centre back such as Holding and Mustafi.

The Frenchman recently retired from international duty after missing the World Cup triumph through injury, and he will now find it difficult to break back into the Arsenal first team. Reports this week stated that Emery would not stand in Koscielny's way if he chooses to move on, so a return to France at the end of the season may suit all parties.

#2 Aaron Ramsey

The Welshman is Arsenal's longest serving player, however the club recently withdrew a contract extension that Ramsey thought had been agreed upon. This means that the 27-year-old will almost certainly leave Arsenal at the end of the current campaign.

It is a sad ending to Ramsey's lengthy spell in London, as Emery seems content to move forward without the player that has made nearly 350 appearances for the club. Ramsey will of course have no trouble finding a new club, and he will command a huge salary due to his lack of price tag.

#1 Mesut Ozil

Arsene Wenger worked tirelessly throughout the latter stages of his tenure to ensure that both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez would stay in London. Sanchez of course left for Manchester United, but the German eventually signed an extension with Arsenal until 2021.

The change in manager has however put Ozil's future at the club in some doubt. The 30-year-old has visibly shown his disappointment at being subbed and Ozil has publicly told Emery that he wants to play the number 10 role rather than play out wide.

Due to this, the talented playmaker is being linked to a move to Turkey, which is a country that is close to his roots. Let's just hope that Emery and Ozil can sort out their problems so that the German can continue to build his legacy as one of Arsenal's greats.
