The young Spanish right-back recently made his long-awaited first-team debut against Blackpool in the Carabao Cup and he looked very at home playing with some real confidence. It has taken him a while, however, to get his chance in the first team and he has at many times not played due to the likes of Hector Bellerin in front of him in the pecking order.
However as soon as Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasanic are back to full fitness his chances of playing this season will be numbered. He should look to try and go out on loan so that he can get some more first-team opportunities under his belt otherwise the former Barcelona man will not get regular game time next season.
However, he is not giving up yet and has recently revealed that he is targeting a place in the north London derby against Tottenham which takes place on the 2nd of December.
