A move to Italy might be the right move at this time for Fabregas. With the league more technical and tactical, this would be the best platform available to the former Barcelona man to showcase his ability. Since the early season, the Rossoneri have been linked with bringing Fabregas to the San Siro.
Whether AC Milan made a move in January or waited until the summer, would be very interesting to see, and with the media circulating over the future of current manager Gennaro Gattuso constantly it is hard to figure when a move to the Italian giants would be best for Fabregas.
With Milan currently 5th in the Serie A they are already 13 points adrift of leaders Juventus, however, the possibility of a return to the Champions League would remain possible.
If the club could pull off a major coup in January and sign deep lying play-maker Fabregas this would almost certainly see them in the strongest position in years for a return to the European elite.
Linking Fabregas up alongside the powerful and energetic Frank Kessie would be a similar partnership that he struck with Kante at Chelsea, if Milan moved forward with a 3 man midfield and linked Bonaventura joining the front from a central position or Hakan Çalhanoğlu, this would be a formidable midfield trio.
Italy would be a fantastic opportunity for Fabregas, and with Inter Milan and Napoli both being mentioned previously in acquiring the services of the World Cup winner, the Serie A could add immense quality to the league further.
