Mark Schwarzer started professional football with the National Soccer League side, Marconi Stallions in 1990. He made 58 appearances for the side and then moved to Germany to have brief spells with Dynamo Dresden and 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

Schwarzer made his Premier League debut in 1997 with Middlesbrough and played 445 games for Boro before finally leaving the club in 2008. He then joined Fulham and was awarded the Fulham Player of Year award 2008-09. He made 218 appearances for the London-based club. He then moved to Chelsea in 2013.

The Australian international joined Leicester City on a free transfer in 2015, however, he made no league appearances in the 2015-16 season - the season in which Leicester won the Premier League - and thus was not eligible for the winner's medal.

He was released by Leicester City at the end of that historic season and he hung up his boots soon after that with 153 clean sheets with 514 games.
