Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have been a very dominant team in Ligue 1. In the last decade, the French team have won the league title seven times. The club have had some fine goal-scorers with them in the past and also in the current squad.

There was a time when Edinson Cavani, Neymar and the young Kylian Mbappe played together for the Parisians. With the combination of an experienced striker, a highly skilled Brazilian and a very dynamic Frenchman, the trio were deadly in the attack.

The three of them had an amazing time, especially in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 season. The trio went on to score 174 goals in total in both seasons across all major competitions. The 2011-12 season was a historic one for Real Madrid. Under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho, Los Blancos had a terrific squad at their disposal. It was a season where a number of records were broken.

That season Madrid ended up winning their 32nd league title. They finished the season with 100 points in the league table, scoring 121 goals in the process and a goal difference of +89. By scoring 121 goals, the Spanish giants surpassed their own record of 107 goals, which was the highest number of goals scored in a league season.

It was the trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gonazlo Higuain that created havoc for the opposition. With playmakers like Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil in the team, goal-scorers like Ronaldo, Benzema and Higuain were in for a treat. To add, Jose's counter-attacking football was at its peak that season.

The trio of Ronaldo, Benzema and Higuain scored a total of 211 goals, combining the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons across all competitions.

Of all the trios on the list, this is the only trio that still exists. Barring last season, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have been ruthless and dangerous in the attack for Liverpool.

One of the highlights of Jurgen Klopp's time at Liverpool has been the link-up between this highly talented trio. Three of these players made a significant contribution in helping Liverpool claim their first-ever Premier League title in 30 years.

Firmino's versatility, Mane's dribbling and creativity combined with Salah's amazing knack for goal-scoring made the trio lethal in front of goal. The trio has scored 91, 69, 53 in 2017-18, 2018-19, and 2019-20 seasons respectively, scoring 213 goals in total. The 2014-15 season was one of the most successful seasons in the history of Barcelona. The Catalan club won the treble in the club's 115th season. Luis Suarez joined the Spanish giants at the start of that season from Premier League club Liverpool.

After completing the treble in the 2014-15 season, Barcelona were on a high the following season. It was the club's first season without their legendary midfielder Xavi since 1997-98 after he signed for Al Sadd SC.

The stakes were high in the 2015-16 season given the historic achievements of the previous season. It turned out to be a memorable season for former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. The 2013-14 season was the 110th season for Real Madrid in the club's history. Los Blancos were targeting their 33rd La Liga title and 10th UEFA Champions League title that season.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti played an attacking style of football back then. With a star-studded squad, the Italian manager was expecting a lot of goals. That season, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale turned out to be their top three goal-scorers.

With Benzema as a striker and Ronaldo and Bale as wingers in and around the Frenchman, the attack was quite lethal. More importantly, the three players linked up really well with goals flowing in from every position. Not to forget, Angel Di Maria with his creative abilities, was quite effective for Real Madrid that season.

The season saw Real Madrid win the UEFA Champions League for the 10th time and ended up finishing third in the La Liga. The trio of Benzema, Bale and Cristiano, then known as the BBC, scored 366 goals between them in total during their time together in Madrid.

The trio played a key role in helping Madrid win the Champions League four times in five seasons from 2013 to 2018. This feat easily allows them to claim the best trio title in the last decade.
