#3 Kaka

Kylian Mbappe may be the poster boy for dribblers in the Champions League right now, but it used to be an AC Milan star once. Kaka first caught the eye playing for Sao Paulo in the Brazilian top division.

He played for two of the biggest clubs in Europe - AC Milan and Real Madrid. Kaka has 30 Champions League goals which may be less than what Kylian Mbappe already has.

However, Kaka had one of the silkiest feet and was amazing to watch on the ball. There's no rocket science as to why the Brazilian won the Ballon D'Or and was the Champions League's best midfielder in the past.

Kaka was a midfield wizard for AC Milan, for whom he won the Scudetto and the Champions League. Like Kylian Mbappe, Kaka won the FIFA World Cup early in his professional career. His Real Madrid spell was plagued by injuries, but the Brazilian still managed to win a La Liga title.

#2 Ryan Giggs

Ryan Giggs scored 28 Champions League goals compared to Kylian Mbappe's 31, but the Welshman was better known for his crosses and assists. Giggs was a one-club man and a legend at Manchester United, where he spent the entirety of his professional career.

The winger was infamous for running with the ball and making accurate crosses. He was an integral part of the entire Sir Alex Ferguson era, and he was a commanding presence on the pitch.

Giggs won everything with Manchester United a footballer could win. His most special achievement would be the treble in 1999 when Manchester United won the Champions League in the most dramatic manner possible.

He has also won an incredible 13 Premier League titles, and is the perfect on-field role model for someone like Kylian Mbappe.

#1 Rivaldo

The Brazil side that won the FIFA World Cup in 2002 had no shortage of attacking options, but few were as good as Rivaldo. The attacking midfielder, who could also play as a second striker, was equally good at scoring and creating chances.

Rivaldo has played for several clubs, but he will always be remembered for his Champions League exploits for Barcelona.

Like Kylian Mbappe, Rivaldo burst onto the scene at a very young age. His first move from Palmeiras to La Liga was with Deportivo before he switched to Barcelona.

Rivaldo won two La Liga titles for the Catalan club. Interestingly, the Brazilian won the Champions League while playing for AC Milan, despite not enjoying the best of stints with the Rossoneri.

However, Rivaldo has had a glittering career, something Kylian Mbappe and any footballer will be proud to emulate. Notably, he scored only 27 goals in the Champions League excluding qualifiers.
