The French National Football League, Ligue 1 might not be as popular as the Premier League or La Liga but it has always been a host of some amazing talents and promising players in the world of football.
Players like Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante, and Hugo Lloris have all started off with the Ligue 1 before getting the limelight in the Premier League. In fact, one of the biggest stars in football, Neymar Jr. also plays in the Ligue 1 with his club, Paris Saint-Germain.

One of the best Ligue 1 players this season, Florian Thuvian is the only player on this list to have a prior PL experience.
He joined Newcastle United from Marseille in 2015 but had failed to impress at the St. James Park and was sent back to Marseille on loan just after a year. He regained his lost form at his former club and they opted to sign him permanently in 2017.
Florian Thuvian is enjoying the best season of his career this term and has scored 16 goals along with 10 assists in just 29 Ligue 1 games.
His brilliant performances have caught the attention of many big clubs and with some big TV sponsorship deals and foreign investments inflating the transfer prices, we may see many big PL clubs bidding intensively for him in the summer.
#4 Jean Micheal Seri
One of the best midfielders in the Ligue 1, Jean Micheal Seri was linked with a move to Barcelona throughout last summer, but the Ivorian international stayed at Nice at the end of the transfer window.
He joined Nice from the Portuguese first division club, Futebol Clube Paços de Ferreira in 2015 and has been an integral part of Nice's midfield since then. He played all 38 league games in his first season at the club and impressed the fans with his tackling and smart understanding of reading the game.
He has played 92 league games for the French side and has scored 11 goals in them. He was a part of UNPF Ligue 1 Team of the Year in 2017 and has also won the Prix Marc-Vivien Foé in the same year.
Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in signing the player, hence it is safe to say that he will be playing in the PL in the near future.

The Brazillian winger, Malcom is one of the hottest prospects in football right now and is on the buying list of many European Giants.

He was one of AS Monaco's vital players when they lifted the Ligue 1 title in 2017 and has also helped the club to reach the Champions League semi-final in the same season.

#1 Nabil Fekir
The Lyon captain, Nabil Fekir is in a brilliant form this season and has scored 16 goals along with five assists in Ligue 1.
Known for his speed, dribbling and technical abilities, Fekir made his debut in 2013 and became a first-team regular within a year. He scored 13 goals in his second season in the Ligue 1 and was awarded the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Season award. He was also a part of the Ligue 1 Team of the Season in the 2014-2015 season.
He struggled with injuries in the 2015-2016 season and was able to make only nine appearances in the league. He returned to full fitness in the 2016-2017 season and played a vital role in Lyon's fourth-place finish.
