It's the business end of the season and it's time for clubs to start planning for the next season. Chelsea have sent out a lot of loanees and need to consider a few of them for the first team next season.

The Blues have some players who are ready to make it to the first team and need to give them a chance. Here are the 5 best loanees who can walk into the Chelsea first XI next season:

#5 Marco van Ginkel

Fabregas off; Van Ginkel on?
Fabregas off; Van Ginkel on?

Oh yes, Marco van Ginkel is still on Chelsea's books. The Dutch midfielder is on loan at PSV this season and has been on top of his form.

He has scored 27 goals in 52 league appearances for the Dutch club during his two-year stint. He can be the ideal partner for N'Golo Kante in the heart of the defence.

Van Ginkel is just 25 years old and can be the long-term replacement for Cesc Fabregas. He is better than Tiemoue Bakayoko and Conte should consider giving him a chance.

#4 Kurt Zouma

Need a replacement for Gary Cahill? Antonio Conte needn't buy anyone this summer. The Blues have Kurt Zouma in their ranks and the Frenchman can be the ideal one.

Stoke City might be on the verge of getting relegated, but Zouma has been brilliant in the heart of the defence. He's got no support whatsoever from his teammates and still, he's managed to make some sensational tackles, interceptions and clearances.

The central defender has 5 years left on his contract and Chelsea should stick with him. Playing him alongside Christensen and Azpilicueta will make The Blues' backline a formidable force.

#3 Kenedy

Chelsea know the talent Kenedy has and that's the only season why they did not release him or sell him last summer despite the controversial incident in China. The Brazilian can dominate the left side of the pitch on his day and can be the difference maker for The Blues.

Eden Hazard loves playing in the middle of the pitch, right being the strikers, and Conte should opt to play him there. Kenedy can be the one to play on the left wing and it will provide the team with a lot of pace and skill to beat the opponent's defence.

Kenedy has been in stunning form for Newcastle United ever since his move to the Magpies in January. The Brazilian finally got to play as a left winger and not as a left back – a position he was usually played in at Chelsea.

#2 Ruben Loftus-Cheek

When Antonio Conte arrived, he experimented with Ruben Loftus-Cheek as a striker. He is clearly not comfortable in that position and should be played where he loves playing: in the midfield.

The Englishman is doing well at Crystal Palace and has been their stand out performer this season. He has the eye to find space behind the opponent's defender and put in the ball for the strikers to pounce on.

Chelsea need a player like that especially with Cesc Fabregas in his 30's. The 22-year-old can be the one, if not Marco van Ginkel, to replace Fabregas in the start Chelsea squad.

#1 Charly Musonda

Charly Musonda has got it all to be one of the best Chelsea wingers in Premier League history. The Belgian youngster has pace, skills, the vision to put in dangerous crosses and run into spaces.

Chelsea cannot rely on Willian for a long time and it's about time they gave Musonda the chance in the starting XI. The manager needs to trust him and play him a lot more on the right wing – his best position.

Brendan Rodgers have utilized him well at Celtic and the Belgian has shown the world what he is capable of.
