It has been a frustrating transfer window for Arsenal. They have seen the squad ravaged by injuries, particularly in defensive areas.

Unai Emery has not had the ability to bring in new players, as the board haven’t made any money available for transfers, and he has been restricted to just loan targets.

They have though made a move for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic, and he could be an excellent addition. The Croatian winger was superb during the World Cup as he helped take his side all the way to the final, where he scored in their defeat to France.

He would offer this Arsenal side some much-needed balance. The Gunners have at times lacked quality in wide areas, but Perisic would help solve that problem, and he would help improve an already impressive Arsenal front line.
