Manchester United signed Lukaku from Everton in the summer transfer window in a £75 million deal
A well-recognized name in the Premier League, Romelu Lukaku finished last campaign with 25 goals. His stellar performances with Everton last season drew attention from various elite teams in the division. It initially looked as though he would return to the Stamford bridge but the Red Devils were smart enough to snatch him away in a deal worth £75million, making him the second most expensive player in the club's history.

His transfer fee was initially questioned as rival fans accused Manchester United of splashing too much cash on players. That was a similar criticism that the Red Devils faced after they signed Paul Pogba from Juventus in 2016. However, unlike Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku settled in the team immediately.
The Belgian started his Manchester United career with a blitz, scoring a brace against West Ham on his debut. Since then, he has moved ahead with his impressive performances scoring 10 goals and bagging 3 assists in all competitions for the Red Devils.
As a matter of fact, the attacker has quickly developed into one of the most influential players in Jose Mourinho's squad. He is strong, powerful, brilliant in the air and enormously talented. He scores lots of goals; in all sorts of ways. Besides, his movement and ability to link-up with his teammates are really impressive.
