Everton FC v Manchester United - Premier League
Alexis Sanchez is the summation of everything that is currently wrong at Manchester United. Last January, Manchester United indulged in the Chilean, getting him from Arsenal in a transfer that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates. It was a move that was surplus to requirements at Old Trafford; United already had Rashford and Martial vying for the same left attacking slot. However, Sanchez was supposed to be the finished material that Jose Mourinho craved. United gave him the coveted No. 7 and a huge salary package to match. A year and a half later, that salary package has cost United a lot of ground in negotiations with their other stars.

The Chilean on the other hand has hardly done anything of note during his time at the club. He has been extremely poor and recurring injuries have not helped either. Sanchez will turn 31 this December and United will be wise to sell him at a reduced price, if required, and free up their pay role.
It will be a sad end to another player who arrived at the club with a lot of expectations and failed to live up to them. But it is time for the Red Devils to put the Sanchez saga behind them once and for all.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
