It is no secret that PSG have a particular fondness in Brazilian players, as they have completed the signings of Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Neymar, and Dani Alves. Now, the Ligue 1 reigning champion has been linked with the signing of Philippe Coutinho.
The former Liverpool superstar has been pretty much an outcast for Barcelona this season. Despite joining the Catalans for a record-shattering €120 million just a year ago, the star midfielder has failed to justify his massive transfer price just after a decent debut season with the La Liga outfit.
He has been played sporadically by Ernesto Valverde this season due to his poor form. Hence, PSG could serve as a perfect escape route for the unfortunate star. However, PSG might need to sell off Julian Draxler to make space for the play-making 26-year-old.
N'golo Kante
PSG have been longing for Kante's services for some time now. The anchorman has been such a revelation in the Premier League after moving from the French league to Leicester in 2015.
An avid tackler with endless energy and pinpoint passes, Kante has been touted as one of the best holding midfielders in the world of football.
He has now been adapting well into his more offensive role as a central midfielder due to Maurizio Sarri's refusal to play him in his natural position. His productivity has been significantly increased compared to last season and, any suitors should likely spend more than €100 million to acquire the star.
However, PSG have been on the need for another Thiago Motta who could offer more protection at their midfield. Everybody knows of the French giant's financial muscle, but the club would still need to sell some players to snatch Kante if they are willing to avoid FFP punishment.
