According to Sky Sports Italy, Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey has passed his medical at Juventus and has signed a pre-contract which assures that the Welsh international will play for Juventus next season.

While Arsenal's defensive woes continue, the departure of Ramsey and the whole Ozil situation rises one question who will bring creativity in this new Arsenal team? It is certain that Emery wants ball carriers and workaholics - someone like Leroy Sane for Manchester City. Players with high work rate who can win the ball in midfield and turn defence into attacks, a quality which Mesut Ozil lacks and perhaps is the reason for him not getting into Emery's starting eleven.

Although sorting out defence should be their priority in the summer the gunners would also have to look for a capable midfielder and wingers if they want to challenge for the Premier League.

Here are 5 players who are a perfect fit for Emery's Arsenal:

#5 Kostas Manolas (A.S Roma)

Juventus v AS Roma - Serie A

The Greek centre-back has been a vital player for Roma ever since he joined them in 2014. the following year he was also named as "club's best purchase" by the fans. Manolas is currently linked to Manchester United, but it seems that the red devils won't be landing any players this January.

Arsenal were reported to have signed him on the deadline day last summer but for some reason, the deal couldn't be completed. The Gunners could use Manolas's fellow Greek centre-back partner Sokratis Papastathopoulos to lure him into the club.

Manolas possesses the speed to keep track of smaller, quicker attackers while also possessing the strength needed to battle with more physical opponents. While the gunners are looking a threat going forward their defence is still shaky. Landing Manolas in the summer should solve Arsenal's defensive problems and will give them an advantage in the title race.

#4 Denis Suarez (Barcelona)

This deal seems done as reports suggest, Arsenal have agreed on a loan deal for the current Barcelona midfielder with an option to buy him on a permanent deal in the summer.

Suarez is known for his ability to cut through the defence and provide some unimaginable passes. He was highly rated by Barcelona fans and was once considered as the heir for Andres Iniesta. It isn't working out for him as planned at Barca as he hardly gets into their star-studded squad.

Having worked with Emery before at Sevilla he might just be the perfect midfielder the gunners are looking for as his work rate and ball carrying ability is just what Emery wants at Arsenal. The 25-year-old won't cost much and as Denis played as a winger under Emery, he would bring the width that is needed at Arsenal.

#3 Yannick Carrasco (Dalian Yifang)

Carrasco is another player that Arsenal have been heavily linked with this January. Although the possibility of landing him in January is pretty low, Arsenal should definitely go for him in the summer. One may question his attitude as the Belgian international decide to move to China from Atletico Madrid in 2018, but he had a good world cup and you just don't play for a manager like Diego Simeone without having a high work rate. Something that Emery demands from his players.

One of his finest performance came against Real Madrid in the Champions League final 2016 in which he nearly single-handedly won Atletico Madrid the cup. He scored the equalizer and was going to score another one before Sergio Ramos made that important match saving foul.

According to the rumours, the Belgian is ready to come back to European football and is willing to take a pay cut for playing under Emery.

#2 Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli)

SSC Napoli v US Sassuolo - Coppa Italia

This deal would cost a minimum of € 70million to the Gunners and rivals Manchester United are looking favourites to sign the Senegal international in the summer.

The Gunners should definitely make a move for him as he is the answer to all their defensive woes. While the price may seem a little too much for the gunners, the new Adidas kit deal should cover that up. This season we've already seen what impact a defender like Virgil van Dijk can make, as Liverpool have conceded least goals this season in the Premier League (13).

If Arsenal want to challenge for the title, they should go all in for Koulibaly and outbid any other offers. Landing Koulibaly may sound superficial to many Arsenal fans but the Gunners will likely have a big budget for the next summer transfer window as the departure of Aaron Ramsey and Petr Cech retiring at the end of the season will relive them from their massive wages.

#1 Frenkie de Jong (Ajax)

Frenkie de Jong

The current Ajax midfielder is already considered as one of the best youth prodigies and has been heavily linked to Barcelona, PSG and Arsenal. De Jong's feats throughout the 2016–17 season for Jong Ajax saw him being awarded the Jupiler League's Talent of the Season award.

It was reported that in 2017 both Wenger and Pep went head to head for the Dutch star but de Jong made his decision to stay at Ajax.

He is rated highly for his ball distribution abilities and would be a perfect player to play beside Torreira. He fits perfectly in this Arsenal team and could also be used as a replacement for Granit Xhaka who has proved to be error-prone since he was bought.

The Dutchman would cost a lot as a result of heavy interest from PSG, but the reported Adidas kit deal in the summer would probably give them enough money to sign the 21-year-old.
