5 players who can top the European scorers chart in the coming season

Portugal v Spain: Group B - 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia
Cristiano Ronaldo - had a great World Cup

#3 Mohamed Salah

Liverpool FC v NK Maribor - UEFA Champions League
Mohamed Salah

Mo Salah was arguably the wonder boy last season, he had a splendid season with Liverpool. Salah scored 32 Premier League goals last season and Liverpool secured a top-four finish.

Overall he netted 44 goals in the 2017-18 season, which is the most by any Liverpool player in the Premier League era.

Furthermore, Salah was the 2nd highest domestic league goal scorer last season just behind Lionel Messi who scored just two more goals than the Egyptian. Salah's blazing form took Liverpool to the final of UEFA Champions League where they lost to Real Madrid.

However, several critics are saying Salah is a one season wonder like Leicester City's Jamie Vardy. It will be interesting to see if he can replicate last season's form in 2018-19 after coming back from a shoulder injury. If he can perform like last season, he could certainly become the top EPL goal scorer once again.
