The defender had a stellar World Cup in Russia.

The Colombian defender joined the Catalans in January, 2018. He started only four games for the team but appeared to be a shining prospect for the future.

The center-back had a cracker of a World Cup in Russia where he scored thrice for his country.

His goals saw Colombia qualify for the round of 16. Following his strong showing in Russia, a lot of clubs were reported to be interested in the player.

Premier League teams like Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool have been linked with the player recently.

Barcelona would see themselves making a huge profit if they sell the player to any of these Premier League clubs. The club has already signed a center-back in the form of Clement Lenglet from Seville.

The player could be seeing his game time reduce substantially at the club in the coming season. Mina's transfer would break the transaction even, more or less.
