5 players who won back-to-back league titles with different clubs

Yogi P
Chelsea v Sunderland - Premier League
With Leicester City & Chelsea

N'Golo Kante with back to back Premier League titles with Leicester City and Chelsea. That is a known fact to all but he is not the first player to do it in the Premier League nor with the two aforementioned clubs!

Mark Schwarzer won the title with Chelsea and then moved to Leicester City to get a winners medal with the Foxes too! He was the first player in the Premier League era to win back-to-back titles with different clubs.

There are a lot of players in the Top European clubs to have done that and here's a list of the best 5:

#5 – Bernardo Silva

Manchester United v Manchester City - Premier League
AS Monaco & Manchester City

Bernardo Silva hasn't been at his best this season but that does not stop him from ending the season with a winners medal around his neck. The Portuguese international will now be finishing with 2 medals in his first season at Manchester City.

Silva was an instrumental figure in AS Monaco's Ligue 1 campaign in the 2016/17 season. He played in 37 league games for the French side, scoring 8 and assisting 11 in their against-all-odds triumph.

That performance earned him a move to Manchester City. He's not hit the same numbers at Etihad but his contribution cannot go unnoticed. He played 31 times, mostly off the bench but still scored 4 goals and assisted 5. Not bad at all eh?

#4 – Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Inter Milan v Fiorentina
Barcelona and Inter Milan

One of the most decorated players in the history of football. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has won the league title at every club he's played, except Malmö FF and Manchester United.

Inter Milan were crowned the Serie A champions in the 2008/09 season and Zlatan played a huge role in it. He ended the season as the top scorer in the league with 25 goals.

His impressive form at Inter got him a move to Barcelona. The Swede was a key part in the first half of their title-winning campaign in 2009/10. He ended the season with 16 goals and 9 assists despite playing just 29 games.

#3 – Kylian Mbappe

Celtic v Paris Saint Germain - UEFA Champions League
AS Monaco and Paris Saint Germain

Just like Bernardo Silva, Kylian Mbappe was a key part of AS Monaco's title-winning campaign in the 2016/17 season. However, the golden boy of football did not stay at the club for long.

He scored 15 goals and assisted 11 in his breakthrough season (29 apps) and that caught the eye of a lot of clubs around the world. PSG signed him up on a season-long loan with an obligation to sign him for £168M this summer.

Mbappe hit the ground running and has proved that he was not a one season wonder. he's notched up 13 goals and assisted 8 in 23 games for PSG this season so far.

#2 – Eric Cantona

Eric Cantona of Manchester United
Leeds United and Manchester United

Manchester United's iconic number 7 was a stunning player even before he joined them. Sir Alex Ferguson had lost the title to Leeds United in the 1991/92 season and Cantona was one of the reasons.

The French forward scored 9 goals in 28 apps for Leeds but that was enough for Sir Alex to understand his talent. Cantona was snapped up by United as soon as Leeds won their title and the rest as they...is history!

Cantona proved to be one of the greatest players in Manchester United history and he helped them win as many as 4 titles during his 5-year spell at Old Trafford.

#1 – Andrea Pirlo

Juventus v FC Barcelona - UEFA Champions League Final
AC Milan and Juventus

Andrea Pirlo is one of the few players to have played for Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus. However, he is not hated by any of the fans nor was he ever called a Judas.

He won the Serie A title with AC Milan in 2010/11 season and was brilliant throughout the season. However, he was not offered a new contract and Pirlo moved to Juventus on a free transfer.

The Turin side brought the best out of the Italian maestro and he won 4 titles in his 4-year spell at the club!

HONOURABLE MENTION: Kingsley Coman

The Frenchman has won the league title in all the seasons he has played! He started off with PSG, moved to Juventus and is now winning Bundesliga with Bayern Munich and is just 21-years-old!
