With Jagielka in his last years at the club, the Blues of Merseyside will have to replace the English ever present at the back.
What better way to do so with another veteran Premier League and English central defender in Gary Cahill. With a number of young players in the Everton ranks Big Sam could look to Cahill to strengthen the back line for the Toffees.
Whether Allardyce decides to poach the player this season or next season, Cahill could be a great addition to the defence, where he will continue to gain consistent playing time as well as pass on his experience to the younger players like Keane and Martina.
