The United supporters were expecting so much more from the 29-year-old attacker than just 3 goals in 18 games.
Following his move from Arsenal to Manchester United in the Winter Transfer Window this year, Sanchez has not lived up to what most would have expected out from him.
The first half of his season at Arsenal was not so bad when compared to his second-half stint at the Old Trafford. He failed to deliver the spark, the electric form, the speed, everything that made him one of the top players at the Premier League.
The Chile international would be hoping to put that in bed and start fresh this season.
