Paris Saint-Germain also currently hold the Ligue 1 record for wins in a season. That was also set during the 2015-16 season when they recorded 30 wins from 38 matches.
At the time, it seemed unlikely that record - which represents 79% efficiency - would be surpassed. But PSG might just be able to do just that this time around.
Unai Emery’s side has so far recorded 12 wins from 14 matches - an efficiency rate of 86%. If that rate is extrapolated over the course of an entire campaign, it would result in 33 victories, three more than their own current record.
