The deadline day is here and some crazy transfers are being reported in the media today. Some of them are too good to be true but there is a high chance of them happening as well.

Here are 5 shocking transfer that might actually happen today:

#5 - Riyad Mahrez to Barcelona

Riyad Mahrez has always wanted to leave Leicester City. After winning the Premier League title, he wanted to join Arsenal last summer. Now, Barcelona have come calling and he's set his mind on a move to Camp Nou.

Algeria FA have confirmed that they have let Mahrez leave the training camp so that he can go and complete his transfer. They haven't mentioned which club but rumours says it is FC Barcelona.

The Catalan side are keen on signing the winger despite just getting Ousmane Dembele. Apart from Barcelona, Marez was also linked with a move to Arsenal and Chelsea while AS Roma had several bids turned down for him.

#4 - Bacary Sagna to Chelsea

Believe it or not, Chelsea are reportedly chasing free agent, Bacary Sagna. The right back was released by Manchester City after the end of the last season.

The Frenchman has been searching for clubs but has failed to find one. Chelsea are hunting for a right-back and have not found one yet.

Both the parties suit each other's need at the moment and are now set for talks. Chelsea are hoping to sign him today but will have another month to do so as he's still a free agent.

Apart from Sagna, Chelsea have been linked wit Cedric Soares of Southampton and Sergi Roberto - both remain the club's main choices right now!

#3 - Andre Gomes to Tottenham

In what could be the loan deal of the summer in the Premier League, Tottenham are close to signing Andre Gomes from Barcelona according to various reports.

The Portuguese midfielder was signed by Barcelona last summer but has failed to impress. Ernesto Valverde is not keen on keeping him at the club and is said to be forcing the player to move.

Tottenham and West Ham United were leading the race but its Spurs who offered a better package and are more 'suited' for him.

Gomes is also said to be keen on joining Tottenham as it's the season before the world cup and sitting on the bench at Camp Nou would not help him get a place in the Portugal squad.

#2 - Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City

It has been coming but no one expected it to be on the deadline day. Manchester City have always been interested in signing Sanches and have tried to persuade Arsenal into selling him.

The Gunners were reluctant to sell him but with time running out a huge offer on the table, they are finally set to cash-in. Pep Guardiola is said to be ready to offer Raheem Sterling in the deal to reduce the price.

Arsene Wenger wants Sergio Aguero in the deal and no one else. Manchester City are not willing to let go of the Argentine and are now only interested in a cash deal.

Arsenal are targeting Paris Saint-Germain star, Julian Draxler as a replacement to Sanchez. If they get him, Sanchez will be a Manchester City player by tonight.

#1 - Gareth Bale to Manchester United

This could easily be the most shocking move on deadline day! Manchester United are back in to try and sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid according to reports.

The Red Devils have made a £92 million bid for the Welshman and are waiting for Los Blancos to respond to the bid. Zinedine Zidane is not keen on letting him leave but Florentino Perez is said to be willing to cash-in on him so that they can get David De Gea next summer.

Jose Mourinho is still keen on signing a left winger as he has to rely on Marcos Rashford to play in that position right now.

Manchester United were keen on signing Ivan Persic this summer but Inter Milan were reluctant to sell. United also tried to sign Willian from Chelsea but the player was not allowed to hold talks with the Red Devils as Chelsea blocked the move straight away.
