Manchester City posed a huge threat

On a day when the defence had their tasks minimized a little, the Manchester City vanguard were as boisterous as they've been this season. The fearsome attacking quintet of Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva never wasted a moment, as the visitors took the game to the resilient Leicester at full pelt.

Having seen the pressure soaked up by the latter, City upped the ante a little and it wasn't late until they finally found their breakthrough. A brilliant interplay saw Sterling laying off a through-ball for Silva, who teed up Jesus for the easiest of the finishes.

The goal meant the Brazilian now had a hand in 20 goals in his last 21 appearances - 15 goals and five assists - burnishing his credentials as one of the best young strikers in the continent today. And for Silva, it was his staggering 72nd assist in City colours, more than any other player since his debut at the club.

After being let off the hook right after the interval as Vardy hit the pole, City streamed ahead turning defence into attack as Sane cut inside for De Bruyne, who stabbed into the top corner for his 16th goal, taking his goal contribution tally to 50 (including 34 assists), becoming the fastest player to reach such a landmark in Premier League's history.

City's lethal attacking unit completely seized the game by the scruff of the neck, towards the end, as Leicester were rendered completely helpless.
