The 25-year-old is one of the best young goalkeepers in the world. He joined Chelsea as a 19-year-old and within weeks of joining, the Belgian was sent on a season-long loan to Atletico Madrid.
He was hugely successful in Spain where he played a key role in Atletico's La Liga triumph in 2013/14. In his 3 years stay with Atletico Madrid, Courtois also won Copa del Rey, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Super Cup.
Jose Mourinho made him the no.1 goalkeeper at Chelsea during the 2014/15 season. At 6'6", he is a commanding presence in the box. He is quick, has lightning-like reflexes and more often than not, times his runs perfectly when rushing out of the goal to face opponents.
