Marquinhos has been a key player for PSG since his arrival at the club in the summer of 2013. He is also one of the game's premier goalscoring defenders at the moment.

Still only 28, the Brazilian has racked up close to 350 appearances across competitions for the club, contributing an impressive 34 goals. A big-game player, the club captain recently became only the third footballer in Champions League history to score in the quarter-finals and semi-finals in successive seasons.

Marquinhos, who has scored three times this season (all in Ligue 1) would hope to maintain his form at both ends as PSG seek their first Champions League title.
