#2 Saul Niguez (Atletico Madrid)

Saul Niguez is a 24-year-old central midfielder who plays for Atletico Madrid in La Liga. He also features for Spain's national team, having made 15 appearances since his debut in September 2016, scoring two goals in the process.
Saul is a useful player to have in your squad, as he can also be deployed as a right and left midfielder, which means that he's essentially an all-rounder when it comes to the middle of the pitch. This type of player would suit Arsenal down the ground, especially with the number of complaints their current midfielders get.
Arsenal have been linked heavily with the Spaniard in the past, but the gossip between the two clubs has dwindled since that time. This isn't to say that the Gunners aren't interested in the midfielder, because they surely would be, it's just a matter of being able to pay the sum that Atletico Madrid ask for. And with Manchester City also eyeing Saul at the moment, there might be a simple result to that potential bidding war, and it wouldn't be in Arsenal's favour.
Transfermarkt believe Saul's market value is in the region of £80m, but there's no doubt that Atletico Madrid would want at least £100m - especially for a player as integral to the side as him.
Rumour probability: 4/10
As stated above, much of the speculation between Saul and Arsenal has occurred in the past, primarily in the summer, but after nothing materialised, a lot of the rumours faded away. But if Arsenal can afford to contend with the likes of Manchester City for Saul's signature next month, then surely he would be their number one target.
