Lukaku scored 17 goals in 35 games for West Brom in 2012/13 season, during his loan spell. He has consistently hit double figures since then. In the 2015/16 season, the Belgian had 118 shots, with 48 of them on target. He scored 18 goals. The next season, he improved his goal-scoring ability, scoring 25 goals, while registering 110 shots, with 55 of those on target. He still managed 86 shots, 43 of which were on target and scored 16 goals in the league.

Over the summer, Lukaku also showed his goal scoring form with Belgium, scoring 4 goals as his team finished Third in the FIFA World Cup 2018.
