A message to the Boo Boys on Sunday!

It’s the photo none of us ever thought we would see but we HAVE TO face it and get on with it. What worries me is the boo boys on Sunday. I know and understand why there ARE people that will want to vent their frustrations on Sunday at Roman and the Board for doing what they did with Robbie AND now with Benitez, but being honest, booing them is not going to help anyone is it!

There is also the possibility of people turning on Fernando Torres and I am pleading with every single Chelsea fan out there to not do it, to get behind him and the rest of the players and to not turn Sunday into something the press are expecting.

It’s important to remember that there are 24 other players to consider here along with Torres. There are other members of Chelsea’s coaching staff all working with the same aim, to win games.

As expected Rafa Benitez said pretty much what we were all expecting, but I want to pick up on one point he made as IT IS relevant right now.

He said:

“If I’m a fan, I’d want my manager fighting for my club. It wasn’t a lack of respect for the Chelsea fans. It was a manager defending his team. I’m sure the fans here would like to see me doing the same.”

I can understand what he is saying even if at the time I thought the bloke was a complete twat!

One thing is important here, we want Chelsea winning games. By booing or abusing Rafa Benitez, Roman, the Chelsea board or Fernando Torres, YOU ARE NOT HELPING THEM AND THE CHELSEA PLAYERS.

Like I said, don’t get me wrong, I understand why people who are devastated by the appointment and angry but Sunday is not the time or the place to vent your frustrations.

The most important thing for all of us right now should be to get behind the players and the team. We can be the 12th man on Sunday and inspire them into beating City, picking ourselves up and getting our season back on track despite who the manager is.

The press and the media have seen the response to Rafa’s appointment and are expecting a backlash from us on Sunday. DON’T GIVE THEM THAT and get behind the team.

So, to people who are coming to the game on Sunday who feel angry and annoyed, please channel that energy and emotion into support for YOUR players as this is massive on Sunday.

Chelsea Football Club is bigger than anyone. Managers, staff and players come and go but one thing remains here, our club and the supporters.

We can be bigger on Sunday than people are expecting us to be. We may not support the manager but we have a chance to really show the players that we are right behind them!.

Show them on Sunday that we are!

Carefree & KTBFFH!
