Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out of contract at French giants PSG at the end of the season and has remained cryptic about his future. He clinched his 13th league title in Europe and 4th with PSG last month and the English Premier League is the next logical destination as it is the only frontier left for him to conquer.

When asked about a move to England, he said “I have another three months here and then what will happen? Big things will happen. Let's see what happens.”

Ibrahimovic's potential arrival at Old Trafford would present a welcome selection dilemna for the manager, be it Louis van Gaal or another. Club captain Wayne Rooney occupies a similar position on the pitch and has at times seemed to be undroppable when fit.

In order for the move to go through,United would first have to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. They are currently four points off Manchester City in fifth place. The Champions League is the only title that has eluding Ibrahimovic and will be a pre-requisite for his arrival.

Manchester United striker, Anthony Martial talked up a move for the Swedish striker saying,”It would be nice to play with him. He is an extraordinary player and he continues to prove it despite his age.”

Nineteen-year-old Martial has been a revelation after his 36 million pounds transfer from Monaco. He has rescued the Red Devils many times this season, especially with his goal against Liverpool and more recently in the FA cup against West Ham where he cancelled out Dimitri Payet’s stunning opener.

The French international is happy with his decision to join the Reds and has impressed with goals, his dribbling and clever movement. Hailing Louis van Gaal as a great influence on him, he says that the team needs to strengthen in the summer transfer market.

The Red Devils have struggled for goals this season despite Martial coming up with 13 goals in his debut season for United. With Wayne Rooney on the decline, the team is crying out for a talismanic striker.

In spite of his growing years, Ibrahimovic has remained prolific in front of goal. The Swede has scored 30 times and assisted in 11 goals in 26 Ligue 1 games. The 34-year-old has won league titles in every country he has played in and signing the Swedish striker could well lead Manchester United to another Premier League title.
