Manchester United’s 20-year-old star forward Anthony Martial’s ex-partner Samantha Martial recently blasted the Red Devils for changing their lives for the worse.
In an interview with The Sun, Samantha said “Everything changed. Footballers in England are like kings. They have so much money and attention it’s like they live in a different world; He was thrust into the limelight and it all just exploded. Young girls were throwing themselves at him.”
Samantha also said that Manchester United was a dream, a big move in Anthony’s career. However, she did not have kind words for the women in England, “Women in England love football but not for the right reasons; I think that with football they see more – the money and more glitter, just the pleasant side of things and forget that behind this there are women spending their time with these men”
It all started when Anthony was meant to be at his parents’ place while Samantha was flying to Dubai for a vacation with a friend. However, Samantha said that she saw a picture of the player with a fan in a perfume shop. When she approached Anthony, the striker denied any such allegations calling her a liar, freak, and paranoid person.
The forward then went on to block her number. Rumours about his affair with X-Factor beauty Emily Wademan also hit the media around this time.
“I was told United was a family club but off the pitch, he didn’t get any guidance. Manchester United have ruined my life,” said Samantha. She said that other big teams offer support for players to handle their social media accounts and pages but Manchester United did not do anything of that for Anthony. Dozens of women would send him pictures of themselves every day asking him to get in touch.”
It looks like Samantha and Anthony enjoyed a low-key relationship during their time in France together while that changed the moment Anthony left to Manchester. Martial had also called Samantha a ‘grandma’.
The pair also have a daughter together and Samantha accuses Anthony of seeing Peyton four times since their split. Things have gone from bad to ugly after their split went public. Anthony took to twitter to reply to Samantha after her interview with the sun.
