Arsenal FC v Manchester United - Premier League
Solskjaer’s first defeat in the Premier League as the United manager comes at a crucial time for his team. United had won 9 consecutive away games since his appointment and were coming into the game after a fantastic comeback win over Paris in midweek.

It looked like the Gunners would have a hard night out, but in truth, it turned out to be a reality check for Solskjaer’s men.
If there was any complacency in the team, those were washed out after United failed to capitalize on a weekend where both Spurs and Chelsea slipped. The defeat to Arsenal also sees them fall down to 5th right now, while Chelsea, with a win in the game in hand, could push United further down to 6th.
However, now is not the time to fret. The top four race is far from over and perhaps, this loss to Arsenal was just the heads up United needed right now. This loss will have the United team grounded and could help galvanize the team.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
