In a setback for Arsenal, Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain may not be a part of the Arsenal squad until 2014.
The winger had suffered a knee injury on the first day of the season when Arsenal played Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium and the recovery is taking a lot longer than expected, according to The Mirror.
The 20-year-old has been asked not to start training until mid-December, which means that he will not be back in the squad at least until the new year.
This will also be a massive blow to the youngster as he strives to become fit and get selected for what would be his first ever World Cup with the England squad.
