Arsenal goalkeeper, Lukasz Fabianski, has officially agreed terms with the Premier League side Swansea City and will be joining them next season.
The Poland international, who has made 78 appearances for The Gunners, has agreed to a pre-contract and will be heading off to the Liberty stadium.
Fabianski played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s 2014 FA Cup victory. The 29-year-old appeared in 5 fixtures and conceded just 3 times overall. His biggest contribution was in the semi-final against Wigan Atheltic where he made two saves from the spot and helped them to secure a spot in the final which they eventually won.
In his 7-year career with Arsenal, Fabianski has kept 25 clean sheets. In 2012/13 season, he featured in five games for the North London outfit and they did not loose a single game with him in front of goal.
The club has officially thanked Lukasz for his contributions and wished him well for his future.Published 29 May 2014, 12:35 IST
