The Gunners are watching 20-year-old French player Yaya Sanogo in an attempt to strengthen the forward line. Sanogo currently plays for the France U21 team and has attracted interest from Italy, Germany and France for his impressive performance this season.

The young striker gained massive coverage last month after he scored seven goals inside a week. Sanogo currently plays for Auxerre in the Ligue 2.

Arsene Wenger has expressed his desire to sign the young lad as the Gunners are in danger of not qualifying for the Champions League the next season. Arsenal have had a bad season and there can be a possibility of experienced players leaving the club in the summer.

This won’t be the first time Arsenal has looked at a youngster, but with club’s current position, attracting big names at the Emirates looks like a long shot.

Arsenal currently sit fifth in the Premier League but are five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
