Arsenal - Loyalty

Many readers might be expecting me to bring out the lack of loyalty at Arsenal since the recent 4-5 years but this post is not about.

Gone are the days of Tony “legend “Adams ,Dennis “iceman” Bergkamp and other legends who ended their career at arsenal.

What’s going wrong? What is making them leave the club? Too many questions. Well, this post is not apparently giving you the answers or may be it does……I am trying to focus on the younger generation of Arsenal players who have unquestionable talent and are totally committed to arsenal and are loyal to the core.Firstly

Jack Wilshire: ‘Jacky’ boy is sometimes compared to some of the most elegant and skilled Arsenal and English legends like Liam Brady. Arsene Wenger made him play his debut at the age of 16 years and 329 days, he was Arsenal’s youngest-ever league debutante, a record previously held by Cesc Fàbregas. Apart from his skill he is often praised for his extreme Loyalty towards his club. There were many instances where he openly clarified his loyalty. Once in public he admitted that he would promise arsenal fans that he would stay at arsenal forever. He did that various times also in twitter,He was injured friendly against New york Red bulls in the 2011.He was out of the game for about 18months. He now came back as a better player. He is one of the most loyal players currently at arsenal. He renewed his contract recently implying his long term commitment to arsenal.

He is one of the biggest of Arsenal Fan Favourite. Some people wish to see him as a future Arsenal Captain.

Carl Jenkinson : A young right back who joined Arsenal 2011-12 summer for around 1 mil. fees ( Wenger’s bargain). At first he was notat all rated as a good talent. He was reckoned to be a player for the bench or the reserves. He was not at all impressive at the start of the season when Sagna was injured and couldn’t get much appreciation from the fans. But maybe it was his determination, or the entry of SteveBould a defensive legend for arsenal that has many fans to drop their jaws. He turned out to be a very strong and brave in just 5-6 starts for Arsenal in 2012-13 season. His promising determination along with loyalty and talent can be vital for the team’s future. He also faced the deadly Gareth bale and Robben but still managed to pull out decent performances from them.

Emmanuel Frimpong:

Another loyalty promising youngster at Arsenal is the controversial tweeter Emmanuel Frimpong. Apart from his off-field activities he is a solid defensive midfielder but hasn’t much proved himself because of injuries and a few noteworthy loan appearances. But he tries to bring out his loyalty towards arsenal through many of his tweets. He once tweeted “Arsenal FC is pumping through my veins,” wrote Frimpong. “I will never leave Arsenal even if I get released. I will beg on both knees to stay. They’re going to have to escort me [out].”

He may not a big star as a player , but signs of loyalty in such youth surely encourages the fans.

Along with the above three Aaron Ramsey, Alex oxlade chamberlain , Kieran Gibbs have all showed their intentions to stay at arsenal by signing new long-term contracts.

There are other players who may not be young but want to repay Wenger his faith in them: Abou diaby, Andrei arshavin,Tomas rosicky are the ones who wish to stay at arsenal and fight for their place.
