Nabil Fekir would like to join Arsenal

The Lyon midfielder has been in sensational form this season with 12 goals in 15 games so far. Fekir is now back on the radar of top clubs after a cruciate ligament injury halted his progress.

The 24-year old is a close friend of Arsenal's summer signing from Lyon, Alexandre Lacazette. Further, Fekir's father has spoken about the playmaker's future back in 2015:

“Nabil would like to finish 1st or 2nd and play Champions League football with Lyon. If he leaves, it’ will be for Arsenal. It’s the only club that can enable him to progress, with Arsene Wenger. He will not go to Manchester City to sit on the bench.”

Now, the player has ruled out a move within France and spoke to Le Parisien this week:

“When you are Lyonnais, the only attractive French club remains Lyon. There isn’t another which tempts me more than that. Spain and England are two very attractive championships Me, I like the game, the beautiful game. The teams that are only in the duel do not interest me. That’s not football.”

Thus, it remains to be seen whether the French international will be sought by Wenger, especially when he could prove to be a good replacement for Mesut Ozil or Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal looking to bring Oguzhan Ozyakup back to the club

The attacking midfielder left the Emirates to join Turkish club Besiktas in 2012 for just £400,000. However, the Turkey international blossomed into a fine player in the past five years and is wanted by the Gunners to replace Ozi, if reports in Turkey are to be believed.

Ozyakup has made over 150 appearances for Besiktas and his tally stands at 27 goals and 43 assists till date. Wenger reportedly believes that the 25-year old could be an ideal replacement for Ozil.

Arsenal are confident that a £10 million bid will get the player in January as his contract is set to expire in the summer. Ozyakup could prove to be a good fit at Arsenal, having worked with Wenger before.

Jack Wilshere is the top target for Fenerbahce

Wilshere is the top January target for Fenerbahce

The Turkish giants have made the Arsenal midfielder as their top transfer target in January, as per Ajansspor. Fenerbahce's board feels that the team lacks invention in midfield at the moment and have reportedly promised Wilshere a first-team place along with a big contract.

The 25-year old's contract runs out next summer and is yet to agree to a new deal with the club. Further, Wilshere is currently down in the pecking order with the Englishman getting game-time only in the cups.

Thus, Fenerbahce could prove to be a way out for Wilshere and the Turkish club are willing to pay a fee in January as per the report.
